Several family members and I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn for the Thanksgiving holiday. The continental breakfast was lacking, the coffee and tea were only available during the breakfast time of 6:30am - 9:30am. The maid service was not thorough, when we arrived in our room, we noticed a bottle of baby wash in the bathroom and a pair of baby socks on the dining room chair and we had to ask for towels each time we needed them because we never saw the maid service around. The biggest issue my family and I had was that we felt we were in Dr. Doo Little town. There were so many pets on the premises with their owners. On our floor, we had a dog close by that barked early each morning. When the front desk was called, they said, yes we are aware... Not acceptable... For the cost of the room, they could have done better. They definitely, should consider keeping all pet owners on one floor and make sure potential guests know they are pet friendly establishment. We researched our hotels before we booked them and this was not mentioned. I also had family who lived in the area and go check out the hotel. Lastly, we were schedule to check out at 12 noon. We went to say goodbye to a few family members and return to our room to check out at 11:30am, but our keys had been deactivated. We had to go to the front desk for new keys to get our things. Marriott Residence Inn should provide better breakfast, have tea and coffee available through out the day, there maid service do better when cleaning the rooms, they should make it clear, they are a pet friendly establishment, especially if pets are allowed on all floors.

We loved our stay! I was hesitant at first because of the reviews, but we it was amazing! The breakfasts were great, the king suite was spacious. Had all of the necessary cookware to prepare our own meals. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

They need a better exterminator. We witnessed 3 types of bugs and had to move from one room to another only find more bugs. It used to be a nice place to stay but not so much anymore.

This hotel needs lots of love and attention. It is certainly worse for wear and dated. My remote was so caked full of junk it turned my stomach. The sconce was ripped off the wall, the bed it is a bit hard and no streaming options on the TV. I have been in much nicer Residence Inns before. I probably wouldnt book here again when I am in town.

The place is horrible! I would give it zero stars. I was given a room at the backside of the hotel and was instructed to drive around and use the back door. At the entrance was overflowing trash and soon as I stepped into the hall I was met with scuffed-up walls and dirty carpet and a pile of dirty towels laying in the hallway YUCK!. Beware of the elevator as well! Once I got to the room same dirty carpet but the king bed sheets seemed to be cleaned and the toilet was clean enough. My son and I had an event to attend so I thought well this could be a sleep-in-my-clothes kind of night and out early in the morning. So we dropped our luggage and left to attend an event. Upon our return 2 hours later to the same pile of trash etc in the hallways. I decided to make up the pull-out couch for my son. I kid you not I almost passed out from what I saw. The mattress was so NASTY they surely will need to call a hazmat team to get it out. It is late and we are both exhausted so I call the front desk and explain the situation and was told they cannot exchange the mattress. Say What?? Did I mention that I am a Platinum Elite Marriott member er so I travel quite a bit and never in my life...As a matter of fact, we were just in a Residence Inn in Raleigh the previous weekend and it was the opposite of this one. So I tell the young lady that I need to check out and was on my way to the lobby. I get down in the lobby and she tells me she doesn't even know how to check me out. Unreal. One hour later I was finally checked out after she needed to make several calls. I was able to witness many customers complain about the cleanliness of their rooms etc. Disturbing... Obviously, I am a Marriott fan and stay at various properties throughout the country but this place needs a complete audit by Marriott. Consider yourself warned.
