Spirit of Hope National Championship is more than an amazing event, it is a way for cheerleaders to get involved in a wonderful cause.
Spirit of Hope is named after a young girl, Hope Stout. As a 12-year-old, she was diagnosed with a rare form of osteosarcoma. When given the opportunity to have almost any wish fulfilled by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Hope’s wish was that the other 155 Wish kids would be granted their wishes.
The Spirit of Hope is about sharing her selflessness, putting others first, having an attitude of gratitude.
